My name is Athena Markopoulos, I am currently enrolled in The University of Victoria’s (UVic’s) Post Degree Elementary Education Program. Previous to this program I studied Psychology at UVic, receiving my degree in June of 2024. I also have experience work as a behaviour interventionist working with children who are neurodivergent. I have a passion for working with kids and as a teacher hope to gain experience working with all grade levels, but specifically enjoy the grade 1-3 range.

I have a passion for music and in my free time enjoy songwriting and my hobby of singing and playing guitar. In my free time, I also enjoy going on walks and am always on the hunt for a beautiful landscape or sunset photo (which you can check-out throughout my blog website)! I have also recently begun to bake sourdough and hope to experiment with the world of sourdough even more!
